If anyone has any suggestions for the site, post them here.

The forum would be much better if you'd used invisionfree or phpbb, but I guess there's nothing to be done about that now.

Yes, I have phpBB and vBulletin and am (at best) familiar with php (the scripting language). I'm working making a full-skinned fully functional vBulletin forum right now. I plan on making that the permanent one in the future, after we get some traffic. I agree completely though, this proboards thing is only temporary - I promise. ;D

Right now it doesn't seem worth it to lay down the money for a vB license either. But hopefully in time, we'll get enough activity here to warrant it.

Oh, well then. So are you working on the vB forum, and once it's up and running we'll switch over?

I am currently working on the vB forum. However, there are other things I'm considering as well. Perhaps a website-component to the forum. But that's just an idea as of now. I want to see what kind of attention we can attract like this, and then grow from it. I am going to take my time with the vB forum, making sure all of the quirks are worked out ahead of time - along with experimenting with some php integration things. For example, taking your forum username (i.e. Diablo) and making that username coincide with a username to the full site where you'd have access to member-only sections and things of that nature. But as of right now, those are all just ideas. I don't want it to go to the point where it's an overgrown site, the site is and will stay about the forums so I'm trying to figure out things I can add while staying true to the core forum.
