Do you play any instruments? If so, which one(s) and how long have you been playing it/them?
I play guitar, and I've only been playing for about a month.

Not at the moment, but a friend and I are going to try to learn guitar later this year. I'd like to learn bass guitar, but I have 4 6-strings and no bass, so I'm gonna have to stick with normal guitar for now.

Well, I assume that if one knows how to play guitar, bass would be much easier to learn. While things differ between them, the physical aspect is mostly similar (fingering, picking, etc.).

I've been playing drums for the past 6 years, floating in and out of shitty bands and the like.
And bass guitar, and I assume regular guitar as well, is a lot easier if you've played any string instrument. My brother played cello for a bunch of years in school and what not, and then picked up bass guitar very easily.

I've been playing the drums for 7 or 8 years and it is really hard to get a band with good musicians that are also committed. I'm in a crappy band right now. Besides drums, I've been playing the guitar for about a year and I've played the french-horn for 8 years.
