I've submitted the forum to many, many search engines to hopefully increase the amount of people to talk to. However, the search engines probably won't care for several weeks. Tell all your friends who are into music, even a little, about the site and we can hopefully get things up and going in the near future. Thanks.

One more thing. If you have a song that you are posting about, do me a favor please. If you don't mind, do a google search for that song's lyrics, then post a link to them in your post. Make sure you link to the first or second result on the google search. That way, when google's "webcrawler" searches the internet every so often, more paths have been formed to our site and we will move up in the search rankings. Please and thank you.

I'm not sure that those things really help so much. A lot of people will probably just ignore it. The best thing to do is advertise at other forums where people might be interested (of course, it helps if the person advertising there is a regular member, but isn't necessary).

What I mean, is that if you post a link to a popular site on our site, it opens up more pathways in and out of our site for the webcrawlers (which run every few days or so by Google and Yahoo! standards) and the more paths that the crawler can take, the higher the page in question will be in result ranks. I mean, simply telling other people will help much more, yes. But this also helps get people we would not have ordinarily told.
